TELC exam: who needs it, stages of implementation, examples of tasks
In the summer of 2023, new changes in the rules for obtaining a long-term EU resident card came into force in Poland. Now, in addition to the state certificate of knowledge of the Polish language at a level not lower than B1, foreigners can present a certificate of passing the TELC exam.

Why should you pay attention to this exam?
- The certificate offered by our school is suitable for applying for an EU resident card;
- Unlike other exams, our TELC exam dates are flexible and not tied to government schedules, allowing them to be held at any time;
- Depending on the results, you will receive a certificate indicating either B1 or B2 level proficiency;
- Certificates are typically issued within 6-9 weeks after completing the exam.
How is the exam going?
The exam consists of both written and oral components, which typically take place on the same day. The written portion lasts 115 minutes and includes assessments of listening, reading, writing, and grammar skills. After a short break, the oral part is conducted. This section is done in pairs and includes time for preparation as well as a direct conversation on a given topic. The oral exam takes approximately 15-20 minutes.

The cost of the exam (with the certificate) is 900 PLN.
